Without water, emotional and done!

This winter storm is something else!
We don’t have water over here still, but thankfully we haven’t lost power in a while now.
Not gonna lie, yesterday I was GRUMPY. 😠🙈
I was emotional and really just DONE with everything. 😩
God is so patient & merciful with me (so is my family)!
At breakfast today, the kids and I read Psalm 114 (about remembering God’s provision during the Israelites’ exodus from bondage), and the last verse just got me.
“Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.”
Jason lightheartedly chimed, “I could really use some flint about now!” 🤣
I feel ya, buddy. I feel ya.
If God can give water from a rock…
He’ll provide water for us! No need to fret. Trust Him. (Talking to myself, but maybe you could use the reminder, too.)
Thankful for soooooo much in the midst of this mess!
There’s a roof over our heads, food on our table, and we are healthy...🙌
