Ever felt like you don't belong?
When I was in the 6th grade, I did a huge report and presentation about Babe Ruth.
It was my first year in the "Gifted and Talented" class, and my very first research paper.
I remember my teacher ripped up my poor attempt at a bibliography in front of the whole class...
I was mortified.
I felt like I didn't belong there.
I cried at my desk, fumbling through my index cards of notes when I came across his words...
"Every strike brings me closer to the next home run."
I wiped my face and nervously picked up my pencil.
I was determined to knock this project out of the park... and I did!
WHY do I share that with you today?
Because I want you to try... and try again.
That idea, that goal, that dream...
Try again, friend!
I'm rootin' for you. 😘
