These are all things I told myself at CG Games this morning.

💜

I finished the event in less than an hour (47:18.5 to be exact), didn’t do any modifications, pass out, vomit, take a water break, or get any penalties! (Personal Goals: ✅)

💜

When I joined Camp Gladiator last summer, I did it to help me feel strong as I fight lupus and cope with fibromyalgia.

💜

But what I’ve found was so much more!

💜

I never thought I would workout consistently... in a group, outside, running, lifting weights, bear crawling, crab walking, jumping, lunging, hurdle hopping, flipping and dragging tires... OH MY!

💪

But here I am, a whole year later, STRONGER than before!

THANK YOU to my trainers, Ben & Katelyn, and my CG friends who all encouraged me and never let me quit or feel like I didn’t belong (even though I move at a snail’s pace), and who’ve helped me get out of my own head to just keep pushing forward.
