Who inspires you?
This photo was taken less than 24 hours after our sweet Nanny passed away, in the back of a limousine (our first time to ever ride in one), as we made funeral arrangements.
💔
Last week, I was asked to share a photo of someone who inspires me, and I instantly thought of my sister.
💕
Together, we stayed by our Nanny’s hospice bed 24/7 the last ten days of her life.
🌷
We literally held hands as we walked the valley of the shadow of death together.
💗
As I witnessed her rally strength and pour out the most compassionate care when we were both beyond exhausted, physically and emotionally, I was inspired to greater acts of kindness and my own renewed strength while we comforted & cared for Nanny.
✨
Nanny, without saying a word to us those final ten days, was able to knit our two hearts even closer together than ever before!
💞
My words don’t do justice to the admiration, respect, and love I have for you, Jen! I’m beyond grateful to be your big sister and to hold your hand through all of life’s valleys and on the mountaintops!
